Andrew L. Maddox was born in Fort Benning, Georgia. He grew up in a military family residing all over the country. Upon graduation from Valley High School in 1999, he served in the United States Marine Corps as an infantry Marine. He completed two deployments to the Middle East. After completing his term of enlistment, he received an honorable discharge and served an additional term of enlistment in the Alabama Army National Guard, receiving an honorable discharge thereafter.
Andrew is a graduate of Auburn University, where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree with a double major in Political Science and Criminal Justice. During this time, Andrew maintained full-time employment at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in LaGrange, Georgia. He continued his full-time employment traveling from Birmingham to Georgia throughout the course of his law school education. Andrew graduated from Birmingham School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama and began practicing law in East Alabama.
Andrew is licensed to practice in all state courts of Alabama as well as the United States Middle District of Alabama. He is a member of the Alabama State Bar, Chambers County Bar Association and Lee County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association.
